Blackhorse Yard public consultation

The first developments within the Blackhorse Lane area, which forms part of the Mayor of London’s Upper Lea Valley opportunity area are well underway.

The latest site to come forward is Blackhorse Yard, which was purchased by the Mayor of London to deliver 100% affordable housing on site. We have been sent this invitation flyer by the housing associations that are promoting the development (Catalyst and Swan Housing).

The proposed development will deliver around 330 affordable homes for shared ownership, as well as 3,000 sq m of retail, flexible workspace, artists’ studios and other ancillary uses.

We are yet to see any of designs of the proposals but our representatives will be heading down to the exhibition to take a look.

The exhibition takes place on the following two Tuesdays (12th and 19th June) from 4-8pm at Gnome House, 7 Blackhorse Lane.
